2001 Dodge Durango Audio Update - El Cajon

This 2001 Dodge Durango came to us with a factory-amplified Infinity sound system in poor condition and long overdue for a refresh, so we rebuilt it from the dash back, right here in El Cajon.

First, we swapped the tired stock radio for a Pioneer DEH-X6800BT, which brings modern connectivity to an older truck: a USB port and built-in Bluetooth that pairs cleanly with today's smartphones. No more CDs, no more aux dongles.

Then we added the bass. A Kicker CXA600.1 mono amp drives a Kicker Loaded CWR122 12" subwoofer in a tuned ported enclosure. It's a great single-sub combo that puts out real punch and fills the Durango's big cabin with ease, and the preloaded box fits perfectly in the back.

A refreshed deck, modern connectivity, and clean low-end — this Durango went from worn-out factory Infinity to a system that keeps up with today's music and phones.
