This 2000 Beetle adds a radio and speakers
This 2000 Volkswagen Beetle had us install a Boss radio and some Kicker speakers.
The factory radio is removed from the dash using radio keys, which makes this a pretty quick swap. After soldering up the harness, we moved onto the speaker install.
Volkswagen rivets their speakers to the door which makes this replacement a bit more challenging. You can see here the OEM speakers had completely degraded with age so this was a much-needed upgrade!
