We meticulously ran the wiring for the rear dash camera inside the factory wiring channels, ensuring a seamless and tidy appearance. By utilizing the vehicle's existing wiring routes, we were able to keep the cables completely hidden from view.
The placement of the cameras is crucial for optimal coverage and functionality. We strategically mounted the front dash camera and routed the wiring discreetly inside the factory plastic trim to the rear of the vehicle, where we installed the rear camera. Careful attention was paid to ensure that the cameras were positioned for maximum visibility without obstructing the driver's view.
This Thinkware dash camera system offers advanced features, including a camera multiplexer that stitches together imagery from the two fender-mounted cameras and the rear camera. This innovative setup provides comprehensive coverage with minimal blind spots, similar to Tesla's Sentry Mode, offering our client unparalleled peace of mind.
Once the installation was complete, we conducted thorough testing to ensure that all cameras were functioning correctly and providing the desired coverage. We used the Thinkware mobile app to confirm the camera views and adjust any settings as needed, ensuring that our client was completely satisfied with the system's performance.
